Sorry. There is a technical name for this piece and I was trying to remember it. Sensor-Actuator? I just don’t remember. Since it is a piece that carries out a programmed responsibility I assumed something within it could be considered software.
A guidance sensor put in upside down makes sense. But "The technicians tried to put the piece of software on the rocket upside down" did not make any sense to me.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogUkEpBR... That’s the rocket. You can see it veering to the left while trying to self-correct, then failing to self-correct from the right lean. Just a guidance sensor (modulator?) hammered in, upside down, caused this wreckage.

That does sound like a cool plot. There was a rocket mishap a year ago, maybe? Anyway, it was a Russian rocket where the self-correcting thing-a-ma-jigger failed to work and the guidance system failed, sending the rocket flying-sideways crashing on lift-off.
Come to find out: The technicians tried to put the piece of software on the rocket upside down.. They didn’t figure out why it wouldn’t fit properly; instead, they handled like any Russian would --they took a hammer to it. Upside down, smashed to fit. job done. Bannna-monkey-Obama? Smash to fit propaganda? Yeah, definitely a Russian thing.
I think this article missing the point. Obama is part of a USSR sleeper cell that they had in place when the wall fell. When they knew they would nominally lose the cold war, the KGB not only took over the oil fields, they redoubled their efforts on winning the war through propaganda. (Think Boys of Brazil) Obama was just one of their many projects, but they need to draw attention away from his Socialist policies and their involvement. The street art is just one example of this that reinforces anyone against Obama is a racist. This appears to be anti-Obama while actually supporting him.
I don't know it this is true, but it would make a great novel.
Note: Installed is short-hand for hammered in. Lol
