At the best, he doesn't understand property rights and is inconsistent in his thinking (not to mention rabidly obnoxious in his anti-patent stance) but I'm glad he got this one right. At the worst, one could say his stance on net neutrality is because he has heavily invested in areas which will be regulated under the new rules : http://bostinno.streetwise.co/all-series...

Ah right. I recall you or Dale mentioning this before. He seems to have it together on net neutrality though.

He is an outspiken critic against patents. Yet he is very bullish on his own copyrights and trademarks. He is certainly no friend to inventors or startups. I like to contrast cuban with a Peter Thiel. Also a Rand fan, he offers high school graduates opportunities to get involved with startups right away as an alternative to a traditional college education. Like Rand, he understands the importance of inventions and property rights.

Can you elaborate? Not that I'm challenging the assertion. I'm curious and don't know much about Cuban (other than he considers himself a fan of Rand (The Fountainhead) and owns the Mavs.)

Mark Cuban is a typical crony capitalist. It's all about what helps Mark, not what is moral.
