I'd be real careful about putting that all on Trump when he hasn't yet committed to either a balanced budget or reduced social services. He is a fan of government spending, higher taxes, and government-run healthcare, however. He's said as much.

I knew that when I voted for Cruz yesterday.
Later my son said friends of his were voted for Cruz.
Guess they knew what I knew but felt but just had to make a statement about sticking to grounded conservative principles.

Pretty much all of them. Muslims for their kill the infidels, Christianity for the dark ages and the crusades. Love Prager, they put out some good info in those funny videos. Anyway, The Big Government Party has done just about everything he talked about. They try to tell us how to run our lives and then they provide the income distribution from those that do to those that don't. Don't get me wrong, I believe there are people who need help and they should get it, however most do not need it, they need tough love not government handouts. I live in a small town based on railroad, agriculture and the service industry. Lots of good people but lots of indolent people also. Some of the people I know run businesses, either as owner or as manager. They have issues with people working for a couple of weeks and then once that paycheck shows up, boom, they don't show up for work because they got high or their paycheck was used for bail money or something else really stupid. Meth is a big problem here as it is in most places and they jail is overflowing especially right after payday. It is crazy and the cops know where and when to do the busts. Don't go in the grocery stores near the first of the month, that is when everybody gets their SNAP benefits. Out of the 47 million or so on SNAP, I would say 18 thousand or so live in the town of 32 thousand. I am being facetious but the hard workers here are seriously outnumbered.

Hopefully Trump will become president. He is moving quickly towards that. He has support across all the demographics. All he has to do to make America great again is to get government out of the way and let US make America great.

Unfortunately, Cruz lies and pulls nasty tricks. Maybe his version of "god' tells him to do that. Who knows. Anyway, he wont be in a position of power fortunately.

According to Rush Limbaugh, Cruz is a principled Conservative. I agree with "freedomforall"... The GOP will stand in his way. Again, we are letting the Ruling Class of both parties and the media choose our candidate.

If Cruz is the real thing it won't matter. The GOP will not let him represent them.

The only promise I've heard from Cruz is to limit government and get back to the rule of law in the constitution.

Ted Cruz is...watched him for a long time...he has fought and won against the Government many times...People don't like him cause he has principles and he believes in a creator.

If he comes to Conn. I will give him a copy of my book and he might begin to think of creation, the creator and the teachings in a more conscious quantum way...(that's his only stumbling block for those that want to make it up on their own).

Yes, it was funny and good for a laugh. I think that I would have laughed harder, but sadly what he said was so true. Most of the candidates have a Santa Claus complex. I wonder if we will ever live to see a candidate who is an originalist when it comes to the constitution.
