I didn't expect he would get any help from congress to do what he claimed he wanted to do. As with Obamacare he promised to repeal Obamacare completely then after elected he began the Republican chant of repeal and replace which means we will still have the same pig with lipstick while we are told that it is now different.

That's a little harsh. After Trump was elected and before he was sworn in he was interviewed by Leslie Stahl of 60 minutes. She asked him point blank if he was going to repeal Obamacare and he honestly replied "No, there are some good parts to it and we will work on keeping most of it." I am surprised how often a politician can tell the truth and then it is forgotten or missed and everyone continues to believe that this politician will be different. His executive orders have moved Obamacare closer to a single payer system, not away from it.
When Leslie asked him if was really going to build a wall he said; "A fence will probably be ok in some places." I don't know that a wall would do any good. The Chinese built and enormous wall to keep out the Mongols and were invaded and ruled by them anyway. You just need someone to open the gate.
I am not negative, I am a realist. Watching Trump is like watching Obama who promised to end the war in March of the first year he was elected. I knew he would not and told my communist daughter he would not. He did not. She said it was not his fault. It still goes on. He promised to eliminate the Patriot Act that evil President Bush had instated, he did not he strengthened it. It amazes me that so many who are against socialism are so easily misled by the pretense of getting something done. Those who are for Trump say that what ever he is failing to do it is not his fault (hmmmm where have I heard that before?) After Trump has served his term we will see if he had any effect on any of his promises.

Well, I never paid much attention to Soros before, but from what I just read of his comments, he appears to be throughly contemptible.

BTW ,President Donald Trump has one thing that has never been told by any president but him, he told the truth. He called Washington a swamp.

I can only go by what I see and Trump has no help in congress to address any issues.

I thought that in 2016 that the evil nature of Hillary would internally come out in the quiet of the voting booth. I thought Trump had won the hearts of many people, but they were afraid to publicly admit it. But in secret their true feelings came out.

The only problem is that the republicans arent really united behind Trump or what he stands for. They ARE mostly in the establishment and not to be trusted. THAT might splinter the vote and cause Republicans to lose in 2018.
