He's correct but 'politically incorrect' in his rejection of the flood of ethnic Muslim balkanization, but he has nothing of substance to say beyond that. His appeal to "Christian values, ancient Greek philosophy and the discoveries of the Enlightenment" is a hodge podge of contradictory vagueness that has become a shallow and destructive conservative mantra. Calling for Europe to have "faith" in itself based on this is no answer. Christian mysticism, their emphasis on platonic Greek philosophy, and ignoring the emphasis on reason and individualism underlying 'discoveries' of the Enlightenment have been Europe's downfall. The Muslim primitives are responsible for their own actions, but defending against them takes ideas a lot better than Plato, Christian tradition and undermining science for religion while exploiting the science. Europe committed suicide long before the modern Muslim surge.

A recent promotion for "tradition" by Hillsdale College in this country is no better: "These questions are at the core of what it means to be human—both in our relationship with each other and with God. Our Western heritage, tracing back to the Hebrews and the ancient Greeks, to Jerusalem and Athens, was where these questions were first asked, and answered... This is your opportunity to deepen your understanding about the Golden Age of Greece and Early Christianity, the Renaissance and the Scientific Revolution." Hillsdale's "understanding" of science turns out to be religionists exploiting nihilistic modern philosophy undermining science.

Combining several nations with different fiscal policies under one monetary policy can never work. It's no different than me putting all of my 10 neighbor households from my street into one savings account. Only crooked people would sell such a scheme.

Thatcher was a complete and total bitch, she single handedly killed off what was left of British industry, she wanted to end the power of the unions so she killed the industries that supported them. Now people like me (skilled engineers) have to look long and hard for work and the young people have no hope, with vast areas of unemployment and a generation or two of doleies (people on unemployment and social benifits) I had to look out side of England for work, others will never know what work is and will be stuck in poverty for the rest of there lives. Sorry rant over!

I'm friends with my ex and attend Christmas parties with her cooked very nice Christmas dinner due to my kids being there.
My son, not the stepson, insisted (gently, but he still insisted) I help his Mama get her air conditioner going in her car. That was two years ago and she still owes me roughly $500 of the of the $600 something I paid but that's OK.
I inherited much more than that and I'll still eat her Christmas and July 4th food with all my grown kids there, ruffling no one's feathers for being a debt collector, but should I be asked for another loan?
I know just what to say~"Do you remember when you needed help with your car's air conditioner? etc etc."

I am "giving away" my ex-spouse in a marriage ceremony on Saturday. Although we didn't consent to a marriage contract with the state, we have been closest friends for 20+ years.

My bro took care of his kid.
I'm happily divorced but took care of my three.
I was stunned when my stepson, who I used to butt heads with, made me his best man at his wedding.
He said I taught him a lot. His marriage has fortunately worked out far better than mine did.
Me dino don't want any part of another.
I'm now 71 anyway, retired and set in my ways.

During the same time period similar conditions were in England itself, according to a Hallmark TV series called Poldark and set in Cornwall. Netflix stonewalled my attempts to request it, but fortunately a friend I made in The Gulch sent me all three seasons as a loan. I'm currently watching the third and I understand that a fourth season is in the making. It's all been a very good show.

Avoiding marriage is often the best path today for a man. That assumes that he also takes reliable measures to avoid unsupported fatherhood, too. The law is designed for the society that existed before 1960 and in today's society that is completely unfair to honest, ethical, honorable men. This inequitable law serves the purposes of the manipulative, socialist state.

Involuntary, forced altruism for most of the european people. Their leaders in some ways deserve the fate of Louis XVI.

It makes you appear very interesting to say the least.
I've known two people named Pollock. One was an OK guy when me dino was in the Marines and the other is the mother of a niece, the mother not believing in marriage but a brother is living out his retirement with her anyway.

Love the Prager U series. They get right to the heart of many cultural problems and expose the elitist attitudes which do ultimately lead to self-annihilation.

You need to read Ben Franklin's report after he went to Ireland. It was the complete callousness of the English overseers and desperate poverty of the Irish that solidified his determination that the colonies needed to seek freedom from the crown, lest they suffer the same fate.

Me dino is a Squarehead that's part Mick and part mongrel Frog because Mama said her French side got mixed a bit after getting kicked out of Canada by Redcoats, though her father looked like Charles De Gaul's cousin. Mama's mama had an Irish accent.
