Me dino had forgotten all about laser pens that were popular around the turn of the century.
I actually had one and recall teasing a cat that furiously tried to catch a red dot I with the pen wiggled around on the floor.

Excellent question, but it's a Catch-22 in that it's one that can't be answered w/o an investigation. If the investigation shows nothing, then obviously, no it's not. But if it does show government involvent, then yeah, I think it would be worth focusing on as 3000 people died that day.

Actually, they were losing money.
The buildings were built PRE Internet, and the complex required EXPENSIVE Upgrades to push fiber in them (One of the excuses I heard). With the building being so tall. It's a PAIN to push that stuff into every FLOORS Telcom room. And add the equipment, then deal with the tenants.
Plus other issues.

I think BLDG 7 Had ENRON Evidence, and read somewhere that they also had DUPLICATED (illegally) bearer bonds that were coming due and would be discovered to be fraudulent.

And then there is the GOLD in vaults below.

Hmmph! I can see it coming... a new layer of government bureaucracy the busy body control freaks will love: The Ministry of Self Checkout Inspection and Compliance. With enormous fines and possible incarceration, not to mention a whole new source of revenue for lawyers, for failing to comply, the Commifornians are getting way ahead of the curve.

Not really buying this, but will wait to hear more. With all that is wrong, this is what we want to focus on?
