We first have to separate Climate and Weather. We can have a very small impact upon local weather (ie Cities, etc) but we can not have any impact upon Climate which can be described as long term weather patterns. For that we look to the Sun; the main driver of most everything upon earth.
As you may be aware, I have been involved in learning about Cycles of weather, here on earth and out in space, ie the sun and galaxy resulting in catastrophes.

Regarding Climate Change -- we need to ensure that we not become Simpletons (low-resolution thinking) like that of so many Progressives who have the habit of reducing climate change to essentially one cause (anthropogenic) and once solution (taxation and its sundry forms including economically and environmentally debilitating "clean green solutions"). The climate is changing, it has been changing, it will continue to change. This is just reality. However - it is beneficial to seek out the various sources or inputs to that change, the types of changes, such as weather patterns that can last for decades, and how to address these changes -- including forms of adaptation.

The whole Epstein Island Thing always seemed like overkill to me. It's really simple. You are hosting a mixer, fundraiser, social -- you make sure that your target is one of the guests, assuming a male target. During the shindig -- the target has a few drinks, maybe one is doctored. A nice looking server escorts the exceedingly happy and compliant male target into a room near the party. Once in the room, the two become very comfortable. The booze is really kicking in. A hidden door opens into the room ... a couple underage lassies enter, and become part of the party. Of course, there are cameras and mics from all angles. The youngsters leave the room. The male target is awaken some time later. Sufficient time passes, he gets shown a sample of the videos. Said male target is now In The System. What you Do Not See: a plane, Lolita Express or otherwise, flights, Islands, etc. Easy-peasy.

As for the Epstein Files ... So what? Epstein got around, anyone who was anyone went to his parties, socials, is shown in a photo or two. I am a Math Guy ... kinda miffed that I was never invited to any of his parties. This Epstein fellow has a rather shady and come from nowhere past -- who were his handlers? How did he go from being a nobody to a near billionaire? He had some connections. I believe that he was funded and placed in a position to create the atmosphere for political blackmail ... and it was effective. The biggest part of Being Effective is the global advance of normalizing deviancy, degeneracy, the vile and putrid. The word used in the original post: Guilty. See what we are doing in The Gulch and pert-near everybody else? We have the perspective, now, that they are All Guilty. That's a rather large brush ... and it shows either low-resolution thinking or just tossing hands into the air and saying I Give Up, I have better things to do. Perhaps Thomas Massie was not guilty, so they got rid of him... he refused to play ball. As indicated in the OP ... the players might wear different uniforms, but understand this, there is really only one team.

As for the economically illiterate guy with a 500-word vocabulary being in the E-Files .. for me, it's all a Where's Waldo. We've gotten to, and been at the point for the past couple years, where the AI is so good, that the deep-fakes are ... Is It Live, or Is It Memorex? Can you tell what is real? That's also part of the Effectiveness. Create an environment where the common person can no longer distinguish fact from fiction ... where Objectivity is relegated to the ash bin.

That's very interesting. Seem like cool people. I happen to think that Epstein's operation actually WAS massive blackmail operation. This all gets down to values and ethics. I'm faced with the harsh reality that my take that every pedo should be thrown into a wood chipper really puts me into a fringe minority in our society. Freedomforall points out that maybe Trump is using the information to control his enemies. If so...that makes him only slightly better than, say, a Dershowitz, or Prince Andrew. I give no quarter to any pedo, no matter how much doing so might benefit me.

Based on the evidence that has been released, however, I don't see Trump as one of the guilty.
There is another explanation of the reluctance to expose the guilty.
Trump may be using the withheld evidence as a control mechanism to convince
the guilty to help accomplish Trump's MAGA goals.
(In Trump's place, given his experience in the first term, it's what I would do.)
At this point, based on the accomplishments to date, imo, that's more likely than Trump being guilty.
If so, that might change your last sentence.

A Common theme is people trusting those above them. I have a family member who is a freshly minted doctor.
