Hospitals all over the US are in the same boat: furloughing doctors and nurses because patients are being told to stay home instead of receive treatment.

It's past time to end this lockdown and get back to normal.

What's funny about that is that any good doctor will tell you that COVID-19 is like other respiratory viruses: it won't kill you by itself. It requires another serious underlying condition such as pneumonia, heart disease, etc. The more serious condition is the actual cause of death and the respiratory ailment (flu, etc.) is what is known as a co-morbidity factor.

The reprehensible thing is that doctors are being told by the CDC to report any death they even suspect as being COVID-19 related as a death due to COVID-19 - rather than listing it properly as a comorbidity factor. Then also the hospitals get $13,000 per COVID-19 patient they see and $39,000 per patient for those going on ventilators from Medicare - so the financial incentive is there...

Not as a practitioner it isn't. The money and the job security go to top management in hospitals and insurance companies. The actual health-care workforce is told by the management workfarce, implicitly of course, to cooperate with existing rules and practice patterns or get fired. Dissent is, figuratively speaking, a capital offense. Been there, done that, and survived a medical-board complaint and previously a big hassle with a medical board in another state.

I'm at a loss for comment here. You mean to tell me the SUPERIOR Canadian socialist health care system suffered unintended deaths? Say it isn't so!!!!! Hmmmmm.

Accuse the others of your crime. As the guy who nearly got my car yelled at me after he had blasted through a stop sign, "YOU HAD A STOP SIGN, BUDDY."

Of course they will. He could spearhead an effort that cured cancer, and instead of giving him credit for that, the MSM would give him crap for not curing the common cold.

Government is designed to benefit itself and its minions. Any other positive effects on the people are unintended really. Any negative effects on the people are just ignored.

"This is extremely dangerous to our democracy."
Yeah, me dino agrees. This is extremely dangerous to our republic too.
I've seen these kinda of quoting off the same script comparisons among Fake News outlets on such Fox shows as Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity. Today I'm seeing Fox News also included as meat puppets for some "man behind the curtain" as I have alluded to in the past.
A man, men, men and women, girls, girlie men, George Soros, Ming the Merciless, I don't know exactly who. I know sometimes Fake News picks up on the same propaganda that Red China puts out.

Holy duplication, Batman! That's downright terrifying.

One of the scariest things was that the first station was my hometown station.

Medicine is a great business to be in. That's all I'm going to say about that...

It was telling. He made the comparison that he's taking as much flak as Lincoln did. (I think there's some merit to that statement. Lincoln never faced a call for impeachment or a media as rampaging and dishonest as this one.) For that, the media took him to task again - only proving the point! (If you're Dan Rather, it also made you look like an utter moron.)
