Biden will keep him. Trump will want to fire him, but there will be blowback he might not want to deal with. He can certainly make it known that he thinks Fauci is just plain wrong.

If we assume masks work (let's be honest, there are ZERO RCTs showing this is true for users who are likely to catch it from being INDOORS with sick family members. But it is PROBABLY that it will reduce the Viral Load (or the inoculum, reducing the damage caused, because a large enough initial dose can in itself be lethal, this is well know, and studied as the LD50 [The Lethal Dose required to kill 50% of the study participants, usually animals]).

But where is the recommendation to AIR OUT our houses/apartments? (Literally open the doors and windows to let fresh air in, so we breathe less of what might be trapped in the house). 2 Major Arguments for the FLU season to be when it is:
1) Lowered/Dropping Vitamin D levels because summer ended a bit ago and it is decreasing our Vitamin D
2) More time spent indoors (increasing the inoculum, and the duration of the exposure), less likely to open doors/windows!

When you let that sink in, and you see that D3 is so cheap as to be nearly free to make.... And opening doors/windows IS FREE. And the viruses tend to die outside with Humidity and sunlight...

One has to ask where THESE Recommendations are?

We are paying people who have a VESTED INTEREST in selling use Rx Vaccines/Drugs and NOTHING LESS. Ivermectin? NO! HCQ? NO!
And they have the money to FUND studies to show "harm", and even CONSTRUCT the studies (by overdosing HCQ in 2 of the studies), or by paying someone to publish a RETRACTED study... While REMOVING the Dose Size from the FDA Website for HCQ...

Meanwhile, Fauci said "Nothing to worry about, and Masks don't work" in the beginning. If Trump was THAT WRONG in the beginning, the LEFT would have a valid point.

But there are DOCTORS who think they are WALKING TIMEBOMBS because of constant exposure to SARS. The ONLY Argument for this, is that there is a SLIGHT Chance of a Dengue Fever type Cytokine storm from a re-infection. But my understanding is that EVEN THAT isn't always fatal if it is caught early.
Yet the FEAR is PUSHED and ELEVATED beyond REASON.

And that my friends is the point. To TURN OFF your REASONING... Because without REASON, you can and WILL do the most horrific things.

Seems he wasn't actually fired, but he was restricted to an administrative role separate from the "science", if any was really being done.
This is one thing that I hope Trump can fix in the 2nd term. Actually firing people for cause when warranted seems to be nearly impossible in the federal government.

He's just looking to keep his job if Biden is elected.

I hope that regardless the outcome of the election Fauci gets fired Wednesday. He's been a complete disaster.

I arrived at the hospital one morning early and heard someone singing in the Doctor's Lounge. I asked the Charge Nurse who. She said Dr. C. He's drunk. I instructed her to get another nurse and throw him in the shower. Call in another doctor to do his surgery and I would report him to the Chief of Staff. Boy was that doctor mad at me! I told him one more time and he was off the staff!

If you ever want to understand doctors, ask the Director of Medical Records at a hospital! Been there. Done that. What a learning experience.
