I lived in Bedford! 1992-1996. LOVED it. Loved to go stand out in my front yard and watch the planes come and go. When hubs would be arriving back to DFW, I'd wait for the landing notice and head out to the airport, and arrive JUST in time for him to come out the front door.

I lived in Bedford, just outside of Ft. Worth for a couple of years, and I loved it there. Too tied to SC, though. Mostly, too many old relatives to see about.

You will never find a better place to live! I'm just afraid there's going to be a civil war and I can't get back home in time!

I sure dont want them here, especialy if I have to support them
Let them work for a market wage of maybe $5 an hour. I would hire some at that rate.

If we just stopped giving people who come across the borders illegally the goodies, most of them will stop. Living costs in the USA are so far higher than in south American countries that untrained illegals wont want to come here. The effort require to actually survive in USA is so high, as we can see by the intense homeless problem that's already here. Those homeless people are really dropouts who don't want to rejoin society here at the high levels of income that would be required. A a business owner, I would only hire an illegal if he/she was highly trained OR would work for $5 an hour

My daughter lives outside of San Antonio. She and her husband are thinking of moving east to be near family. I would rather see the family move west to be in Texas. Good for the governors who are supporting Texas. All 25 so far. Nearly half of the states. Keep going!

Shooting invaders at the border will stop the flow immediately and other bands of Soros financed invaders will turn tail and run south.
Legitimate legal immigrants with talents and skills have always been welcome in very limited numbers.
All others are criminals and all should be punished as criminals and sent back to their points of origin. All 60 million including any children born to illegal criminals.

I know, g. I lived in Phoenix in the early 90's and it was a good experience,
but the infiltration was already transforming the city. By the time I returned
10 years later, the friendly large small town was gone. It was tragic.
I don't see any way that non-urban people can stay enslaved to the statist
    parasites in the large shitties.
The country should have been peacefully separated in 1860, but Lincoln
and his corrupt, tyrannical ilk had to crush all resistance by war and then illegally
pass amendments to the constitution against the desires of the people.
Another secession is coming. Hopefully this time individual freedom will triumph.

Tell ya what: if the job hadn't been here, we wouldn't be here either. Just too good to pass up. And the people, at least near us, are great!

Because Phoenix and Tucson have gone over to the dark side.
The cities have been under attack from the meddling scum brainwashing media
for more than 30 years. It's also a haven for leftists from Chicago and Detroit
and has been invaded from the leftist unionized midwest for half a century.
Midwest unionists can't tie their own shoes without government assistance.

I'm just so mad that Arizona is doing nothing. I mean, I expected nothing of New Mexico - they meet you at the border from Texas with "hey, don't worry, you can murder your baby here - no problem!" But Arizona is at least PURPLE, and we are being severely affected by the issues highlighted here. I'm less than an hour from the border and it's a miracle the illegal aliens haven't "found" us yet. Probably because we are just a neighborhood of houses, with no economic activity happening, and hordes of desert animals like javelinas roaming through our neighborhood at night (probably should be thankful for that!)

Seriously, though: The Tucson area is HUGE for immigrants and it needs to be stopped. Why is Arizona not joining Texas.

I better NOT encounter migrants trying to break into my domicile. At least the migrants wont want to see ME or my pit bulls if they do break in.

Migrants arent going to get tangled up in barbed wire at the Rio Grande any more than prisoners get tangled up in the barbed wire used in prisons. Migrants can easily just go to the border and get allowed to be in the USA without having to worry about the dangers of barbed wire.

    We have a Constitution.
It states, in plain English, a very short list of those things that are under Government authority.
In that very short list is defense of our borders.
In that very short list, those things that are not allotted to government control are deemed States Rights issues.
    Period.
    End Of Discussion.
If our thoroughly corrupt Government will not defend our borders, they violation of there sworn oath, on the bible, to defend The Constitution.
They must be removed from office.
