If POTUS can get Ruth Bader-Ginsberg to resign, Holder would be in line for a Supreme Court appointment. This would have to be done prior to swearing in of the new Senate so he could be confirmed. As the saying goes, "Be careful of what you wish for. It may come true."

I wouldn't be surprised if what Rush said about him being appointed a Supreme Court justice doesn't come to fruition.

They are making this move now so Harry Reid can get the next appointee confirmed with a vote of 51 during the lame duck session. Anything less could allow the Republicans too much control over the DOJ.
