Here is where it all falls apart. This creature will get the faceless masses to supposedly elect her, and then continue the democrap method of crushing any possibility of improvements by imposing more and more looting/mooching programs (such as our wonderful Obamacare), which, as they destroy the economy (whats left of it) they then blame on the republocraps. Is there a benign dictator we can hire, and dispose with all of them?

I believe they are referencing the often manipulated practice of writing off all interest paid in carrying specific securities using less than your full value, as in the type of transactions where you margin you assets and someone loans you the money. When you talk huge sums, the interest can offset all your profit taxes. I am not an accountant but my idiot neighbor did that with his "day trading" when I examined his income taxes, he had traded over a million every year for three years and paid 0 taxes.

Indeed, a nice summary of how seh got there. I am hoping she will get derailed by her own arrogance. The email thing has some traction....

Understanding The Wicked Witch Of The Left or What got Her....in a Wad?

In her mind she was acting President 1993 -2001

Along came Bush and diverted attention with a handy war and she worked in the Senate after the seat was purchased for her personal use.

Eight years was enough for people to wonder where the balanced budget and surplus fitted into the 1.4 trillion dollar shortfall.

But...it was not to be. Her turn and the party chose another. The fig leaf was a stint as Secretary of State. We'll see how the current lame duck treats her in his legacy.

sixteen years out of Arkansas. Ready for the bigs! The whole world wondering is it boxers or briefs - and she can't even blow sax.

    Bernie who????

Dammit George this wasn't in Yoda's script!

How would you feel if iyou were always the brides maid's dress maker and never allowed in the church?

That is one bitter itch - to scratch, Acting Prez, Senator, SecState. I forgot ...if Bore invented the internet Hillary invented the 18 month cyber gap.

    Bernie? Who else?

Not Kerry Ever since O'Really? came out for him...Great Move Mr. No Spin Miester...who else would have thought to drive a garlic smeared stake in that wannabe candidate.

    Who else?

Looks like the Demos are just as destitute as the Dumbos!

Productivity is a slipper quantity, in that a lot of intangibles can be considered. If I make the same amount of things with 3 people than 4, but then I have issues meeting targets when 1 is on vacation, or sick, is that increased productivity? Yes, and no. We have that issue at my employer, who thinks we can just cut headcount and "be ok". Doesn't work that way. Lean 6 Sigma is a process to increase productivity, I am certified as a "green belt" working on my "black", and it takes a lot more discipline to execute, but yield more standard results.

There has been a lot of talk, someone had bought the rights a few years back, but nothing came of it. Movies are as much a problem as other things today, the soft headed "executives" have no idea what people want to see. Star Trek Axanar is an excellent example of what people can do when they ignore the conventions and follow their own self's. They will make maybe the best ST movie done, for 1.3 million, and rewrite the movie book in the process.

You are, of course, correct Plusaf. However, that takes the reasonable view that we're looking at both sides of the equation. A populist bimbo simply looks at one side, saying "Vote for me and I'll make them pay you more" with no concern for the predictable result.

re: "Income doesn't necessarily rise as productivity rises. The increased productivity can be used for increased profits or lower prices. If all the players in an industry are having similar productivity increases, they may compete with lower prices which will improve the availability of goods to the consumer but not increase wages.
Competition for the labor pool will have a large effect."

I think there is one erroneous assumption in that... odds are, as in real life, NOT ALL of the competitors will have "similar productivity increases," and as such, the differences CAN drive higher incomes (due to higher profits and rewards) to the players with the better productivity increases.

    No?

And what, exactly, does she have in mind for the unemployed?

Don't answer that, I probably wouldn't like it.

Hillary will scratch and claw to get what is "hers" this time around,I wouldn't be surprised to see some "accidents" or nasty videos of sordid background suddenly surface. I do not trust any of them, and all their words out of their mouths is immediately suspect.

Yes, the fact that a large proportion of our politicians have never had to work,, or were in law, means their skewed sense of what happens in the real world is nothing to model anything on. One of my objections to our current system, it produces creatures like her, that then manipulate the media, get supported by them and ultimately, saddle us with incredible debt and restrictions.

Just like every other leftest, take from one to give to another and get more tax money to urinate away in the process.

Indeed, a special trait that the Clintons and their group learned how to manipulate very well. You are indeed correct in that value is based on the effort and results, neither of which they can effect.

There is absolutely NOTHING a politician can do to boost anything. Except, to manipulate all the restrictions they have slapped on us to facilitate a particular special group to take advantage of the situation, and that rarely lasts more than a few months, before another group gets appeased. All this is is more stories.

I saw the "speech( but muted the TV) I am thinking the flags behind her wanted to puke if they could. For someone who has never had any real job, Just like BHO, she spouts off like she knows what she is talking about. It makes me even more dispondent about our future.

Not to worry about "stealing an eduction", colleges nowadays are not a place of education any longer, just a trap where young minds are embrigaded and conditioned by the marxist scum which is pushing away real professors. The only sensible move is of course to avoid college and go Galt.
