That surprises mi. I know in AS they are in Colorado but I never figured a street would have that name there. Is it an old street?

So what's up with all the dinging? I haven't seen it quite this wide spread before.

Levity? Isn't that what the magician uses to lift the good looking young lady?

I'm sorry he's not around still. It's good that he did that, and you have such a positive way to remember him by. Is that Lebanon, PA?

What is up with that? Not very objectivist if you ask me. I'm appreciating something that struck my funny bone. Sheesh! No levity...

Hold on I'm writing up a social contract right now that everyone implicitly agrees to because they're using the Internet.....

My good friend and business partner was responsible for naming the street in Lebanon. He was such a fan of Atlas Shrugged and lived the philosophy every day. I miss him so.

You should name all of the dead-ends and cul-de-sacs for the parasites.

(But then, who would want to live/work there? Sigh. It would still be funny.

It doesn't matter where you are from it is really difficult to go back to what was. Both you and "home" have changed. People, places and events have pushed you apart.

I grew up in Memphis during the '60s and '70s, Joined the Air Force (because there were no AF bases in Tn) and came back in the mid 90s and realized that wasn't home anymore.

Makes me want to petition to change the name of our private road. Actually, I'd love to see a subdivision - no, an entire business park - with AS relavent names - Taggart Blvd, Rearden Avenue, Galt Expressway, Hammond Road, Danneskjöld Parkway... Of course you have the alntiheroes as well - the Thompson Backalley, Meigs Pit Rd, Boyle cutoff, and the Mouch footpath.

He is a low level worker cutting out retroreflective letters at the Sanders Highway Sign Company. Been there since he walked away from his job as chief R&D Scientist at General Motors...

I can truly understand the street sign in Tennessee. I would really like to see one in Colorado. That would be a news worthy event.
