If Trump just told us what the congress and previous exec orders really did, I think the american people are smart enough to put some limits. Look at what Snowden did by just exposing what the NSA and Obama was up to
Carly sounds really good when she speaks. Yeah, actions speak louder than words. Just noticed my spell checker likes uncommitted a lot better than noncommitted.
At some point in the process we are going to have to get over being thrilled at the fact that Trump speaks his mind and start paying attention to what his mind says.
I hope that by then he has a coherent political philosophy that is sufficiently in favor of freedom. We don't want an effective leader who is effective at building up the state. Obama's been reasonably successful at that.
I think it is more the appearance of knee jerk hot headedness that give the impression. It is also one the detractors tend to use, I just have that impression. But mittens should be ok for the job.
yes, but the VA has proven itself to be totally inadequate to it's customers (just like everyother government department). Maybe that is what the D can be used for, put him in charge of it, I bet he will find a way to turn a profit, or at least go BK and then turn a profit, with it.:)
Every special interest group feels exactly the same way and that is why there is an advocacy for everything there is concerned only for what is good for that group, be damned with everything else.
Interesting that I have heard this reservation as if trump was just itching to push the "war" button. I think he would be less likely to go to war and more likely to work with other countries thru deals negotiated to benefit both sides. True business people know that war is the last resort in foreign relations. It's the statists who are the interventionists. We need to basically spend our resources on building up a strong country
I do believe that the grassroot constituency is made as hell! I, myself falls into that category. When Trump leaves self serving politicians blood on the floor I want to dance in glee!
Good points.I would be fearful if he got elected, just because he might nuke some country just because they pissed him off. He is Knee Jerk Response Mangum sized. But I would like to see him as a new administrations "enforcer", and let him lose on the really messed up areas like VA and Justice.
Yes, I have seen some of the YT videos where he talks religion. I am ok with it if it stays at home where it belongs. He does not trot out policies based on what the Christian Bloc wants, if he can make it fit into what is a good policy for most or all he is always going to do it, but I don't have a problem with that.
Ben impresses me a a man who thinks, and he is quick to boot. He just is not a ranting and raving politician promising everything to everyone, which makes him look weird. I think we are so used to the buffoons, we have made the the standard, and anything else (Trump/Carson) that is out of the norm is untrustworthy. Yet we know, based on previous experience, everyone of the career politicos ARE untrustworthy, and do not have our best interests in mind. It's all about the Party and money.
I might. Time will tell and there's plenty of that yet. Right now I think Carly's great. . Before that I was rooting for Walker. Before that Ben Carson. Sigh! I'm beginning to feel so-o noncommitted.

correct' is another plus.
For all his opposition to political correctness, this is not a man who will ever shrink government, much less take any of the cronyism out of it.
