    OK, so we've now agreed that it's a hairy ball - but for what purpose? Just a hairy ball, or was it some sort of car rearview mirror hanger, or a coin purse, or what? Do we know? Or did the tag call it a "great hairy ball?" Now that would be funny - I really should make those, hmmm a spark of an idea for a new product.

    OK. So there's some apparatus that is worn by those with a kilt that hangs around the hips on a chain (usually, if I remember correctly). Is that it? I don't know the name (although I probably shouldn't admit that, having a bit of Scot blood in my veins - and a bit more of the nectar of the gods as well!).

    As I said, these are only visible thru the Wiard's technological [rather than follical] prowess.
    There might be categories, but you have to ask people to lift their kilts for judging, and if they're not regimental they get all embarrassed - as opposed to bare-assed of course - and I think it would quickly degenerate into rudeness.
    If I were a member of Monty Python, here is when I would say "oh never mind then" and leave.

    tsk, tsk. One asks "What is "God's Hairy Balls!!" thus leaving room for an proper answer, which is:
    an exclamation used in Galt's Gulch Online, usually expressing more than one reaction: outrage and disgust, perhaps; or boredom and apprehension. It is usually used as an abbreviation, almost always in capital letters, with periods between, as G.H.B.!!
