You can go back a day or more

The strip disturbs me the same way the whole left/right thing disturbs me. The unstated premise is gov't must persecute someone so people who like pot are in a political battle with people who like cigarettes. The idea of gov't being less intrusive overall isn't considered.

I don't think they're trying to tax tobacco out of existence. I think they like tax revenue, regardless of the source.
