Progs want to impose a maximum wage limiting how much a person can legally earn. Progs want to say that corporations are not people.
Hmmm, seems awfully suspicious to me. I wonder, do they have corporate backing? Cuz' those two things together seem like they would heavily favor corporations and screw over everyone else.
I get some dotgov communistic agency telling me how to run my biznez, how much I have to pay my workers and myself, not on the quality and quantity of how much they make us but on some socialistic leninistic crapola formula not based in reality, then, my dears... its time to move on... or strike. Want to earn a living? What are yo worth to me, to our "family", and to our investors? Because I have NO time to waste on non productive slugs...
Corporate America would just find a way around it anyway. It would be one of those feel good laws. If GE can pay zero taxes they can figure out how to pay their execs whatever they want. This is just more Progressive pandering.
Next thing you know, they'll be quoting Franklin, as if it's some holy gospel. What it *will* do is kill entrepreneurism, and in so doing seal to coffin of the USA (which I am certain is the true, yet kind of hidden, agenda) and bring us firmly into the era of the rebirth of Marxist Stalinism. by transferring all ownership to the all-powerful State and making us yet another "People's free socialist democrat (ruled) (un)republic..."
I have heard this idea floated before. Its funny that the income spread has gotten worse under progressive administrations and now they say they have the fix for it. The Free Market is the right answer.
