Hey, I used to go to a spa place that did men as well as women. It was great. I didn't even need the "happy ending." (Besides the massager {masseur?} was a guy.)

I gained a pound and she gained ten, but we still
have a nickel to rub together! -- j

p.s. our 10 cruises have, so far, not included flu-like
excitement, and only once did we have a luggage
delay. . we have enjoyed them all, though she
has fallen on two. . and I've learned to push a
    wheelchair!

Awww -- sorry about the BW. Glad you could salvage some sight-seeing. Frankly, that is why I don't travel much anymore. My travels never led me to Hawaii, much to my regret.

I did take a Carribean 7 day cruise, and mostly ate my way through 4 to 6 meals a day and gained 5 pounds. Lost one of my luggage, got a flu-like illness which sent me to the hospital for a day. There's just something about cruises.....

just returned from a cruise around hawaii which
landed in vancouver. . we flew home from there.
BW fell in the ship hallway (sudden 15 degree
downslope in the floor) and rode in a wheelchair
    from day 2 -- of 12 -- forward. . we used the O2
concentrator a lot while wheeling her around.
we made it to two helicopter flights, though -- the
highlights of the trip. . oahu and kawai. . beautiful
and wild; delicious and exciting places. . went to
four islands and wished for more! -- j

    Ditto me.
Thank goodness the BW is not disabled and healthy. I find it hard to imagine being without my fuzzy girl.
John -- haven't seen many posts from you of late. All is well? I hope.

RR, they tend to develop themselves, rather than
developing guilt trips for others, in order to make a
    successful life! . Great Point! -- j

Anybody else ever notice how gorgeous conservative women are, compared to the flaming liberals? I have to believe it's because of the tremendously different mindsets. Conservatives, obviously, have a lot more love and respect for themselves.

If I get married, I intend to name my daughter Dagny, and my son Francisco. They were my favorite characters in AS, probably because they were the most completely developed.

An uplifting interview. Her reason to have children is inspiring. Like her, I enjoy doing things that make me happy. Often, those things require effort and even strife, but in the end they are well worth it. Having children can be like that. There were times, as happens, I believe with every parent when you will question the reasons for having children. But if you do it right, the eventual satisfaction beats all the problems you might encounter. Since I'm old enough to have adult grandchildren, I now have a dog. She makes me happy too. She also makes my BW happy as well. Less trouble than a kid, but a smaller reward.

Interesting interview - thanks for sharing Ed!

I would have liked to have seen her dive deeper into her thoughts on Ayn Rand's work and Objectivism. Is she trying to incorporate those principles in LOLA?

I'd love to see an interview with Sunny Lohmann, for example. She resonates. I wish Nina Whitfield the best and hope she achieves her goals...in DC and around the world.

she sounds like a Beltway insider. There are platitudes in the quickie Q and A.
    2. women agenda. really? people agenda
    3. Individuals in here would love to see an article about liberty loving females/males who named their children with reverence after important Rand characters, or not, in FLYOVER country. But that's just this site. :)
