Nine of Nine is a parody of the character Seven of Nine - a Borg from Star Trek Voyager who was separated from her collective.
I recently separated my self from a religious collective and am now finding my own way it the world.
I give a lot of credit to Ayn Rand and her story of Atlas Shrugged especially Galt's speech for helping me the final way out of the collective.

Congrats, reprogramming is a very hard task as some things are very deep in the subconscious. Good luck on your journey!

    Fuguewriter,
I was raised in a culture/religion that is a very insular collective. I left it almost a year ago.
It's a big change to reprogram my self from that collective mind set.
    I'm the 9th of a family of 9 kids so I choose 9of9. :)

Hi Nine of Nine! Welcome to the Gulch! :) Glad to hear that Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" helped you make an important choice. It's definitely helped me look at things in different perspectives!
