"Bigger Than Watergate" is what Mayor Rudy Giuliani said about the Clinton Foundation scandal and your friendly neighborhood old dino has been thinking the same thing for a while,
Or as the Bad Hair Day Trumpet would put it, "It is yuge. Yuge, I tell you. YUGE!"

And, to be fair, Nixon didn't spy on the Democrats to try to beat them in the elections, he thought they were complicit in releasing secret documents.

Of course they probably shouldn't have been secret in the first place but that's beside the point. They were classified.

Perhaps only making way for a fascist tyrant who cares not about the institutions that made this nation great.......We may have already witnessed the end of our Republic and now only await our Caesar and all of the trappings that go along with a dictatorship!!!!

These people are an indication of just how far we have fallen as a nation. If they are the best we have to offer, we truly are in dire straits.

They now represent the worst of what Ayn Rand was warning us about 50 years ago! As Cicero alluded to, "a nation deserves its leaders" so if Hillary does somehow hoodwink the public into voting for her, it only goes to show just how "bankrupt" the electorate is.

It is either bankrupt morally and devoid of any integrity or, it is 50 years of Hegelian indoctrination through our long corrupt national educational system and that hoax posing as "Higher Education"! For what its worth!

The Clintons are expert at skating on thin legal ice and managing not to fall through. Her statement about not dealing with documents marked "classified" was absolutely true, since classified documents are never marked with that word (confidential, secret, or top secret, but not "classified"). There are (so far) no documents that show categorically there was a quid pro quo between the State Department and Clinton Foundation contributors, but demonstrate a distasteful atmosphere of special treatment. No crime, no matter how slimy an impression one gets. The paper trail is carefully managed to be discreet and indirect, with underlings identified as authors, so Hillary is protected. As abhorrently dishonest as the Clintons obviously are, unless someone can show firm legal evidence of wrongdoing, they will ride the blind sycophantic wave of dedicated adherents to the White House.

Anyone want to take bets on whether anyone will be prosecuted?

I'm 73 also, but would trade for 33. There is still a chance for technology to improve human existence faster than politics can destroy it.

Assange (Wikileaks) has more goods on Hillary and is planning another info dump in October. Speculation is it would take place the day of or just before the 3rd debate, so that she could not refuse to answer to the charges. He doesn't care much for Trump but absolutely loathes Hillary.

One of my local friends commented that his government learned about mordida from their neighbors to the North. Specifying the US Congress. "Well one of our most famous Mark Twain called them Americas only home grown criminal class." Mexico cleaned up much of it's problems while Washington DC just gets worse.

Except that it's a Democratic nominee. You can bet that any Republican would have been drummed out by now. The mainstream media doesn't even pretend to be journalists any more.

The foundation is a functional charity and they get around actually using funds for charitable work by charging salaries, travel, accommodations and materials for conferences of a charitable giving; at the tune of 77% and another 3.5% for taxes, healthcare, retirement of the employees giving the conference.
The rest probably goes toward her campaign! (laughing even though it's sick)

But if you can dodge the bullets and slings and arrows and keep that six percent lead until Nov 7th....How many enablers do they have working for them? That's the biggest part of the scandal is the corruption in Government.

Built in icense to continue the socialist fascist dictatorship. Sure thing Or Lottery ticket. Take your pick.

Astute observation. Probably one of the primary reasons the Founding Fathers sought a limited government - to try to give politicians a fighting chance to remain honest.

    The only saving grace:

1.) As long as we protect the second amendment, we can't really have a monarchy in the US, the military won't take up arms against its own, and a 500,000-1 million man army is no match for 200 million +/- armed civilians anyway. The 2nd Amendment protects all of the others. It's not about home defense, it's about Constitutional defense.

2.) She looks old and weak, Bill looks even worse. I give her 50% chance of surviving 4 years, maybe 10% surviving 8, and probably no chance of making it through a re-election campaign anyway. The Clinton fatigue, the scandals, the media barrage will come back, but she is nothing remotely as charismatic as Bill, she won't survive the onslaught.

Either way, Trump is coming back in the polls, we may not have to endure the thought of it. Sure, he's probably crazy, but he's not a narcissistic emperor wanna-be with fits of mania like Hillary.

Absolutely....Watergate was one party spying on another during an election and Nixon covering up for his guys...after the fact. He himself was not involved. For Clinton this is actually "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" and direct malfeasance in office. [TAKING BRIBES!]

You have me thinking of Caligula, who did any insane thing he wanted just for kicks.
Now me with my long ago making an A in creative writing suddenly finds myself making up the name, Caligularita Clinton.
And why not? Shillary can do anything she wants.
The palace guard killed crazy Caligula.
Would the Secret Service turn on a Caligularita? Kinda doubt it. That wimpy FBI directer blew his chance to take out the evil hag early.
Our Founding Fathers risked the hangman as true patriots. Their governmental descendants only care about careers and pensions.
