Well, I've been noticeably absent for the last 10-12 days. That can be explained. I was moving. The worst seems to be over and all that remains is to sort everything out and put it somewhere. Finally got my internet back today. So, now I can zing again.

    All private land, no cattle, and wonderful view from back porch. I'll see if I can d/l pix from my iPhone and show you.

    Little town just west of Athens called Eustace. Actually, NW of Athens and NE of Eustace. But the ZIP says Eustace.

    Dunno. She has to pay for gas to/from and doesn't like to spend money on that. Plus has to sleep on couch and grandma is here (she's 104 and no fun}.

    If you have a washer and dryer, food in the fridge, and a little extra cash, she'll see you often. At least that's how it is with my daughter.

    It's a kind of Gulch. Have 22 ac of our own plus access to about 600 more of wooded pasture land.

    Why the move? Well, dau Amanda graduated HS on 6 Jun and had already been accepted at the Art Institute of Dallas with the quarter starting in Jul. As we were paying rent and had a perfectly good house and land completely paid for just east of Dallas, just made economic sense. Besides, she can come home on weekends (when not working or studying) to see us (mostly her mother). I have stated, emphatically, the next time I move I won't care because I won't be there to see it.
