Antifa

Is Antifa exercising free speech or are they a terrorist organization? While I think there are times when violence may be justified or even necessary this group just seems to be out to create chaos.

They are also making examples of conservatives, and of fans of speakers such as Milo, Ben Shapiro, and Ann Coulter, both by actual violence and by falsely smearing them all as Nazis, in the hope that no one will dare turn out to hear those speakers again. That is clearly terrorism.
The problem that bothers me more is that the police in these places regularly stand down, rather than help the victims of this terrorism. As far as I'm concerned this is not only a violation of the social contract, it is an act of war against the American people and therefore treason.
How many times does this have to happen before we're justified in using some police-level force of our own? I'd say we already are.
(And here I must disagree with wmiranda. When the Berkeley police frisked and disarmed right-wingers before standing down they were committing even worse treason. The victims of Antifa can do those people no wrong. The sides are not equal; only one has initiated force.)
Protesting and free speech are one thing but inciting and engaging in violence against anyone who disagrees is not. Otherwise, forget elections every 4 years and let's just have an ad hoc insurrection. Whoever wins is the boss.
Anyone showing up with mask and urban combat gear and weapons to a protest is not intent on engaging in free speech. Rather, committing violence against those they disagree with at the time. Those showing up dressed as such, should be turned away by police or arrested if they resist the police. Those conspiring with Antifa, like politicians, MSM encouragement, funding, should be charge for any damage caused by such groups. This is true for any other group with such intent.
Sounds like the opposite of an ideal free society, but a free society without responsibility and obedience to the rule of law is not a free society at all. It's anarchy.
The more we find out about these incidents with such groups like Antifa, the more evident it becomes that Trump was right after the riot in Virginia when he condemn the "many sides". Time has proven him right, AGAIN. People like Gary Cohen, and goat republicans, who took the opportunity to bash Trump were wrong, AGAIN.
Like j_IR1776wg wrote quoting Lenin, these individuals have had, not 4 but 8 years of indoctrination.
In some cases I wonder what mommy and daddy would think of spending all that tuition on little Suzy or Johnny only to have them "outed" with a potential jail cell as a future.
I also wonder if that airport tech that can get an image through clothing could be made portable enough to capture the little darlings faces without even having to touch them.

Plus if I am to continue on this for the Charlottesville, VA issue, there were many witnesses that saw KKK, Neo-Nazis, BLM and ANTIFA all getting off the same busses. So to me this is all organized to make it seem worse than it is. I believe all of them are bad and I believe they all need to be shut down. You cannot be a true American and honestly think you are better than anyone else that lives here no matter color, creed or religion. Do we need to be careful who we let in yes we do. Do we need to vet those who are coming in yes. Should we be letting other people in and yet we cannot even help ourselves my answer is a resounding NO because we are literally heading towards Atlas Shrugged take from those who work hard to give to those who don't want to work at all and everyone gets the same no matter if they work or not. So in my opinion, they are thugs and are just out for Violence they don't have a real message except to hurt anyone who disagrees with them.
Simply said we are either in Idiocracy or Atlas Shrugged and at this point both are not where we should be.
