Boo hoo… One should say nothing in a case like this. Reporting incorrect information prematurely is a dire mistake.

Obama calls VJ his second brain. She has the most access to the President and controls most access to him.

I don't think Michelle would tolerate an affair. Remember her Mother lives in the White House. My guess is he had a drunk on and left orders he not be disturbed. Valerie Jarret my have been President for that 6 hours.

I have wondered what effect that Obama is having on the military. I use to have a couple of friends and brother inlaw in the military but they have all left the service shortly before or right after Obama took office. I have had no insite into this area from people in the military. Anything you could share would be of interest to me.

Yes, he is, awaiting his final discharge papers. Just couldn't serve under this president any longer, and it's not the same Army he signed up with 23 years ago.

Thank you, XenokRoy, I certainly will. His retirement makes me almost as proud of him as his choice of career, he says he just can't consider this president as his Commander in Chief.

I do not think so. It is a planned and calculated move that will allow the press to back off the issue using Rice as the fall gal. It will likely work if the press takes the queue; it would be surprising if they did not.

I don't think that man has a romantic bone in his body.
I believe it was a purposeful strategy. They would not admit the Arab Spring was a bust and by going in there to stop the attack it was de facto admission. They were willing to sacrifice lives to maintain the charade. Rice was part of the cover up charade and it backfired on them. I can't imagine how our soldiers trust or feel confident in the commander in chief. I also think our soldiers would have voted that lack of confidence and that most of those ballots were never received in the first place or counted in the end.

I believe he was watching it unfold live as it was photographed by a drone that was overhead. Pathetic! My son, a sergeant in the Army, after four deployments (three in Iraq, one in Afghanistan) and over 20 years service is retiring, and I can't tell you how glad I am of that!!!

Only if the media pursues it. The ultimate question is, "Where was Obama while the embassy was in jeopardy, and what decisions, if any, did he personally make during this period?"

Personally I think he was unreachable on a romantic tryst with someone. Regardless of the reason for his absence, the media will never bring this to light, or any other negligence he may, or may not have committed for that matter.
