the creepiest thing is-Harry Reid refused to accept the provision that legislature and staff go onto the Affordable Care ACT. if it's great for us, shouldn't it be great for them? HONK!

Boehner's not the head of the GOP in Congress. The Majority Leader is. Boehner is the Speaker of the House.

The legislative branch has been pulling stunts like this for decades. Doesn’t matter if it is a Democratic or Republican majority. Very idealistic blogger. I like his site, though. Thanks.

I wouldn't call it "creepy". I don't understand thep procedural moves, but they frequently come to this point when they can't agree on a budget.

I cannot understand the politics of it, though. We had a real problem. PPACA, while far from perfect, solves many problems. They're hurting themselves by arguing this is something to worthy this nonsense.

        It's only a Democrat/Republican battle because a minority of conservatives in the Republican party will no longer go-along-to-get-along with the progressives controlling the Republican party.
        If that minority wins, it will begin solving the real problems.

I am more concerned about the number of bills and budgets that passed the house and went to the Senate and Harry Reid won't allow them to come up for a vote or allow them to be debated. Too much power for that little weasle.
