My first instinct was to fight. Then I got rational. I don't need the power or prestige. I did feel a certain degree of cowardice, however. At one time, I was put in a position of power, but by the time I got there, the organizarion was so corrupt that it was like trying to get a battery operated device that had been left outdoors for years to work properly. What needed was to fire everyone and start from scratch. No way could anyone get away with that. The most expediant thing to do was to fall into line with what the previous administrators did and start wielding power. I resigned.

While I don't consider myself a Conspiratorialist, I always consider anything to do with politics to be the tip of the iceberg. So much hidden jockying for power, with one faction influencing another and another being manipulated to the point where truth virtually disappears.
