Two Colleges Pull Race Card On Objectivity

Next year a course is being offered at Hobart and William Smith Colleges that claim "objectivity" is "white mythology."
The word "sophomoric"~even a "sophomoronic" alteration~sprang into me dino's dastardly mind for being a European mutt mix after I read~""White Mythologies: Objectivity, Meritocracy, and Other Social Constructions" is a sophomore level course taught by (Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee), who are sociology and anthropology professors, respectively.
Betcha bacon that these two well-studied role playing pillars of higher education voted for an obvious crook like The Evil Hag just because a black socialist POTUS touted her as his cackling down from a broomstick peaches and cream replacement.

    Perhaps they are ashamed to exist on the shoulders of the past evils which, if they had not happened, would have changed or prevented their present existences (lives) due to different lives of those of the past resulting in different conceptions through out history. If not the past, then not the present. A person depends upon all of past history, otherwise timing would be different for those being conceived resulting in different persons. E.g., if the evil of slavery had not happened, most all of us today would not exist.

    Realized I had no time to last minute waste for a pay back. First page I was ham-handed for not drawing anything for too long. Then I began to loosen up some.

    Jordan Peterson. I had to find out more about him before responding to your post. Thanks for pointing him out.

    I didn't have a lot of time, but I'd say he was spot on with what I've seen so far. I notice the left has been trying to disparage him as a person with the ridiculous "alt-right" moniker to crush him, but can't counter his arguments, which are well articulated. The left can't kill the message, so they'll try to kill the messenger. I will do more research on him and may buy his latest book.

    Think about it. These guys started out as the subjects of a king whose communications technology amounted to town criers and printing presses slowly loaded by blocks of wood with letters on them. Transportation required feet or horses or unfurled sails.

    Yep, no reparations are being sought from the African tribes who preyed upon other tribes for slaves sold to those wonderful "religion of peace" Muslims and those by contrast mean and cruel white people.
    You know, those same racist Republicans who were slaughtered due to using Napoleonic battle tactics but still managed to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation that dissolved the property rights of Southern slave owners.
    That would include a black plantation owner I read about. He had slaves and descendants who can for the sins of their forefather pay reparations also.

    Thomas Jefferson once wrote that all that was necessary for a government to become tyrannical was to take over the schools and teach that tyranny is freedom and the masses would grow up and demand it. Violence would not be required to achieve the destruction of liberty. America is there.

    Strange that they don’t seem to place much blame on the South that were full of those pro-slavery Democrats.
    Or have any gratitude for the anti-slavery North.

    Or even recognize the fact that people of many races and colors owned slaves of many races and colors.

    "How do they know that?" Because as dues paying union members that follow the PC mantra into tenure, knowledge (along with merit and objectivity) IS meaningless to keep the job and get paid.

    Looks like more inculcation of the New Jim Crow by taking the propaganda to a new irrational level.

    Also, I suppose, in a way they aren't really lying. After all, in a profession protected by unions, tenure, and political correctness merit IS increasingly meaningless for them. Therefore, why not try to impress the same meaningless mental blank-out on everyone else as well - and get a very big MEANINGFUL paycheck to boot? Professional looters know how to loot, for sure!
