My husband walked down the hallway of high school with a shotgun because one of his teacher's said he wanted to see it sometime. I swear to God, and I was there, not one person even looked twice at him walking into, or down the hallway of the school with it. When we tell our kids this they can't believe it. True story.

There were kids I went to high school with that, during hunting season, would have their rifles or shotguns on the gun racks of their pick ups! We didn't freak out. It was hunting season! It was expected that they would show up w/guns.
