you no longer can hold your own values in America

you are no longer able to chose to exercise your values in America. You now run the risk of being forced to become a hypocrite by the government. Whether you agree with gay marriage or not, this baker should not be forced to work for people he chooses not too.

    STOP STALKING ME.

(now I know how khalling feels....)

Christianity has made messes all over history... compared to what? You don't really want to compare Christianity's history over a two thousand year existence to atheism's history of a century or so, do you?

When you need an operation, paid for thanks to your Obamacare, be sure not to go to a hospital. Cause, you know, that's one of those messes caused by Christianity.

To assume otherwise would mean no decorations, no patterned icing. Hardly a typical wedding cake. If they want "generic", then the owner should buy a cupcake from down the street, hand it to the queers and tell them, "Here's your wedding cake, cupcakes."

In addition, I don't know how you get a cake unless you mix the ingredients and bake it, which is labor, in this case FORCED labor, i.e. slavery.

    Book? What book?

    Look between your legs.
That bit of flesh there... its function is to make babies.

To promote that function, and to promote the survival of babies until *they* are of breeding age, the emotional attachment of "romance" exists. The addictive, endorphin rush accompanying sexual climax exists to compel males and females to engage in sexual intercourse.

if the attraction in a male is to another male, or an animal, or an inanimate object, that attraction must be misdirected, because, again, the function is to make babies. Likewise with females.

Doesn't matter whether babies actually result from every attempt. It doesn't change the function of the organs or the effects on the brain.

The function of hunger is to induce ingestion of food. If one is attracted to eat, primarily or exclusively, used running shoes, something is wrong with one.

Likewise, if one is attracted to mate with anything other than a member of the opposite sex of one's own species... something is wrong with one.

You make an assertion with nothing to support it.

I make my assertion with all of nature to support me.

    Yes.

It took me until the age of 35 to learn that the word "no" was simply a boundary around what I should and shouldn't do for what's good for me. It has nothing to do with "bullying" or "aggression".

    abortion is discriminatory.
Because you're a female, you can murder the funny-looking and inconvenient.

But I can't do the same thing, and I'm *surrounded* by the funny-looking and inconvenient every day...

    Not fair, I tell ya...

    Then the problem is solvable;
Have one of the homosexuals undergo "sex-reassignment" surgery. Then they will no longer be a same-sex couple, and he can bake the cake for them.

    Simple, no?

Oh YES! The ripe self proclaimed christian, just like Hiraghm, preacher Fred Phelps and his Westborough Baptist Church.

Now there's a guy who seems to have some excessive and abusive christianity.

HAHAHAHAHA! Tell that to the supermodel that discriminated against my sexual advances! At this point I think you work for this site and are paid to troll posts, and get us fired up to create more activity on here. I can't honestly believe you buy the stuff you are saying.

    Quit lying Hiraghm.

Reminder: I've told you several times I'm not an atheist.

I've been clear that I don't discuss what I am because someone may not like me and not choose a path that is correct for them because of that.

Or they may like me and join me on my journey when it isn't right for them.

You must either be new here, or just haven't read much.

I don't use a religious base for my stand that homosexuality is a mental/emotional illness. I have explained my position in other message threads.

Sexual attraction and romantic feelings exist for the function of perpetuating the species. Just as your stomach exists to digest food and provide nourishment, your genitalia exist to perpetuate the species.
If you are compelled to inhale hotdogs, and swallow carbon monoxide, there's something wrong with your mental/emotional processes. If you are sexually and romantically attracted to the same sex, to inanimate objects, to animals, to children, there's something wrong with your mental/emotional processes. This, in and of itself, doesn't mean you're a bad person. What makes you a bad person is attempting to force others to ignore your illness and pretend it's normal and healthy.

I have no hatred for anyone suffering from homosexuality. I have hatred for anyone, homosexuals, feminists, communists, Westboro Baptists, politicians, Hollywood performers, and many others, who attempt to force me to accept their changes to a society that was once quite successful and becomes less successful in direct proportion to the success of their attempts to warp the nation to match their delusions.

You want to play hide the banana with some other guy's rectal orifice, go for it, so long as I don't have to be in any way involved. But, don't expect me to believe a tail is a leg. Worse, don't try forcing me to accept tails as legs.

So, prove to me that this baker was worried about his eternal whatever. Prove there is life after death.

The fundamental argument is, who or what has the power to force an outcome on another individual. In this case, MUST this baker – who through his rational logic and of his own volition rejects the “stolen concept” of gay marriage – evade or blank out his disapproval of this social behavior. This required evasion, this willful suspension of ones consciousness to satisfy the compulsion of law – in this case of “Public Accommodation” - results in emotion taking primacy over reality. The gays are using this law of “Public Accommodation” as a bludgeon against the baker who disagrees philosophically with a social behavior. You will give us what we want or we will destroy you and your business. These are not the tools of a trader. These are the tools of statist thought police forcing acceptance at the point of a government gun. We should see it for what it really is.

He violated no rights! YOU DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO THE PRODUCTS OF ANOTHER PERSON IF THEY DO NOT AGREE TO SELL THEM TO YOU!

If you rape a woman and then toss her $100.00 afterwords is she a prostitute or a victim???

Probably the same as if he put up a sign in front of his restaurant saying, "Iranians not welcome".

As I recall, the inhabitants of the gulch were rather supportive of the government forcing THAT person to take down his sign, then remove it again from in front of his home, then remove the sign "in your heart, you know".

The consensus then was that the owner of the Red Barn Supper Club *should* be forced to do business with people he doesn't want to, and that his first amendment rights were subject to the feelings of our enemies.
